CAN highschoolers apply for scholarships that require someone to "plan to attend a 2 or 4 yr college?

iam in high school and many schoplarships say this (enrolled or plan to attned a 2 or 4 yr college or university) … so can i still apply when they say this ?

You can apply if you’re planning on going to college, if you’re not planning on going to college than there’s no point in applying. Those scholarships are usually aimed at high school Juniors or Seniors who are preparing to apply for college soon.

Any specific grants or scholarships for college students with low income due to loss of job?

I have the max pell grant, a portion of the SEOG, and I still had to pay a total of $9 for school. I have absolutely no funds for on campus housing and I am desperately searching for financial aid. Please send any suggestions or anything that may help me find a non-essay scholarship?

Only 9 dollars for an entire semesters worth of college? Wow… you are very lucky. Babysit the neighbors kids for an evening to earn that 9 dollars and instead of moving on campus stay at home.

You are SOO lucky!!!

When can you start applying for college scholarships?

In your senior year of high school, when can you start applying for scholarships? Does it matter when, just as long as you’re a senior?
Thanks :)

Start looking early on in your senior year because the deadlines for scholarships vary. Some may have a deadline of November of this year, some may not have a deadline until April of 2010. Keep your eyes out for ones that interest you and that you qualify for, and make sure you note the deadline… so that you don’t miss it.

What is the minimal number of scholarships you can receive for college?

Can u only get one scholarship for college? or can recieve as many as u can get? i was just wondering..cause im going to a university…please let me know!! thnaks
I wrote this while i was in a hurry..sorry for punctuation and grammar errors..but thanks for your help!!
Sorry Guys!! i meant MAX!! sorry!!

Well, the minimal number of scholarships you can receive are 0, especially if you don’t apply. If you were trying to ask what the maximum is… you can get several. The amount is what will matter because once all of your fees and expenses are covered, you will stop qualifying for most scholarships. However, you could have 10 $500 scholarships without a problem.
