What are your strengths? If you are a stellar student, then it should be easy. If your family is the low-income category then apply for grants and scholarships fitting that category. There are writing scholarships, if you are good at that. There are some for those who do a lot of volunteer work.
You just have to figure out what would make you stand out and then go looking for those plus fill out the FAFSA. November is National Scholarship Month, as many are beginning to take applications now, so don’t wait too long or you might miss the deadline (most are in the winter to spring months).
