I have been an RN for 8 years and would like to go back to graduate school. I would like to study to be a family nurse practitioner. I live in a very rural area where health care resources are limited to a growing elderly population. I would like to study to become a primary care provider, but also potentionally to become qualified to eduate new nursing students at a local University that has also shown need for additional nursing faculty. I have written an essay, but question if it will sell me to a graduate school for acceptance.

I was suspended from my college financial aid about a year ago and I’ve had to pay my own way since. My cousin told me that if I get my aid reinstated, I’ll get back the money I paid the previous semesters and the aid itself will pay for them. That sounds strange to me, so I’m wondering if that’s true or not? Thanks.
