My college Financial Aid stuff is due 02/01, if I post mark it before the deadline, will it be consided?

For my colleges, their deadline for financial aid is 02/01.
It I send it on Friday & post mark it on Friday, will they accept it? Even though they would probably receive it on Tuesday, latest?

100% of the income my parents received last year was social security. My dad is disabled and neither work.

Last year they were not required to file their taxes.

Right now I’m trying to apply for financial aid.

It says I need copies of their Federal Income Tax forms, W-2 forms, ect.

Which documents are they supposed to have? Do they have either of these? I called my mom and she says she doesn’t have either since they didn’t have to file. Is she wrong?

I did poorly the first year of college so all my financial aid is revoked. It was due to many things, mainly my depression. It was a struggle to even go out and mingle with my friends. I am no longer getting financial aid but I still want to go to school. Is there any student loans I can get still? Or do I need to pay out of pocket, because then I won’t be able to afford it.

So i’m going to Davidson College in the fall and my financial aid award letter says that i should budget $1 325 for my personal expenses. I know that i don’t have to worry about laundry because Davidson College does laundry for its student and for free. So i’m curious: does that quote include my cellphone fees for a semester? if yes what would be the amount of the monthly cell phone bill?

I am aware of someone who is fraudulently reporting information about her son in order to receive more government assistence for his college education. Is there a way I can report this anonymously.

It really frosts me to see someone take advantage of the system like this since the programs were not designed to be used this way.

I received a $2000 refund check this year for college. When I file taxes this year, will I owe taxes on that amount since I did not use it for educational purposes? And none of this money was from loans.

I am going to be applying for aid to go back to school. I will more than likely qualify for pell grants. My question is- do they give you a little more than just the expense of the classes and books? I am a mom trying to go back to college, and I am concerned about lost wages. Any knowlege of how this works?
