-I’ve heard that many graduate schools, even the not so good ones, require the student maintain a minimum GPA of a 3.0 throughout graduate school, while undergraduate students need a minimum GPA of a 2.0. what’s the deal?
- Also, why do they require the student to have a B- or better?

I wasn’t sure if you had to have graduated or not. I’m looking into taking Psychology courses. I want to go to college for pre-med and then go to med school to become a psychiatrist. While you don’t NEED psychology, it’s the main reason I want to be a psychiatrist. I figure it might be fun to take some college courses.
Also can anyone recommend a good online site for courses?
So im not in any ap classes (wish i was) For senior year i signed up for college classes for precalc physic and english. So what are the advantages of taking them in high school. The reason im asking is because a girl on my team told its stupid to take them but shes in all ap classes. Also i live in NY and planning of going to college in NY.
My best friend and I are both High School sophomores, but she is enrolled in college classes as well, not dual enrollment through our school, her parents required her to do it.
She doesn’t get amazing grades in her college classes (I’ve never seen her pass any of those classes with anything higher than a B) and her grades in regular school are slipping as well, but she’s still got this notion that she’s going straight to graduate school and I’m rather worried that that’s not going to happen.
How likely is it?
