Your best bet would to be to go to your careers centre, or the individual departments and ask them there.

you can apply for those at your college and look up in the library in the book of scholarships and grants who is offering them, when to apply for them, which one exactly fits you or fits your major, and then apply per their instructions and before the ending date for submittion.

If you go to http://www.scholarships.com/, it will ask you to fill out a profile and match you to various scholarships…I have a profile with them…major corporations post their scholarship info/requirements there…give it a try. Good luck!

Check with your schools admission office.
Possibly try http://www.fastweb.com (it is legit).
Look in your local paper’s Education section (many organizations advertise open scholarships there).
Hope at least one of these ideas helps!

In social work the best funding sources that are not a scam.
1) Title IVE – pays full tuition, stipend, and books for workers who go and work for child welfare for up to two years.
2) Mental Health Stipend – Similar to title IVE but for folks who work in a mental health organization post graduation.
3) Health Opportunities – Similar but for people who are going to work in the health field.
Check with your dept of social work to see if they participate in any or all of these.

the most popular grant would have to be the pell grant or you can go online and search for scholarships there are even scholarships you can get for writing papers or explaining why you feel you should receive the scholarships.
